ABOUT US:
The Surf Corvette Club was founded in 1963 as a social club to promote the
only true American Sports Car, the Corvette. The club provides a social
atmosphere for Corvette owners to enjoy their Corvettes with other
enthusiasts, to meet new people, to share common interests and -- most
importantly -- to have fun!
MONTHLY MEETINGS:
We meet the first Tuesday of every month (except
July - there is no meeting) at Mel's American Bar & Grill,
Brick Plaza, Brick,
NJ 08723, (732) 262-5222. The
meetings start at 7:30 P.M. All are welcome and we are always looking for
new members to join our ranks.
MEMBERSHIP:
To become a member, all you need is a passion for Corvettes,
to print-out and fill in our membership application and to show up
in person to present your completed application.
WHAT WE DO:
Our club has many social events during the year and also attends several
Corvette shows. We start every new year off with a Super Bowl party held at
a club member's home, followed by a Valentine's Day brunch cruise at various
venues on the Jersey Shore. We have an annual 4th of July party held at a
member's home, a Halloween party and we mark the end of the year with our
annual Christmas party held at a very nice restaurant.
AND:
We also venture out with our Corvettes on many one-day
trips and an occasional two- or three-day weekend trip. These jaunts are
always lots of fun and generate terrific memories and stories that are recounted
and remembered for years to come.
